Using the Camera Connected to a Computer Getting Started
To start using your camera connected to a
computer, do the following.

It is not necessary to turn the computer off.

Assemble the camera (page 33) .

Install the included DCS Capture Studio, DCS
Camera Manager, and DCS Photo Desk
software. (Follow the instructions on the
software CDs.)
3 Connect the camera to the computer and
power supply
(page 55) .

Turn the computer on, if it isn’t already.

The Power button has no effect when the
camera is connected to a computer.

Start the Capture Studio software or Camera
Manager software.
6 Capture images.
7 Review and edit the images, as needed, in the
DCS Capture Studio or DCS Photo Desk
software and save them to the computer’s
hard drive in the desired format.
Before You Begin
