LENS AY, MAIN BOARD: CCD - “Run_In_WBP”

Adjustment Specification

Caution

Dangerous Voltage

Prerequisites:

None

To Check:

You cannot check this adjustment.

To Adjust:

Do 

“Preparing the “C140 Run_In_WBP” MEMORY CARD” on Page 63

.

[2]

Insert into the CAMERA:

• BATTERIES with a full charge

• “C140 Run_In_WBP” MEMORY CARD

[3]

Place the CAMERA in the dark GEN 3 TEST FIXTURE or with the black cloth covering the LENS.

[4]

Energize the CAMERA.

[5]

If the LCD displays “Set Date & Time”, select “Cancel”.

[6]

Check that “Script Loading...” displays on the LCD.

[7]

When the test is completed, check that the LCD displays:

• green screen

• “Calibration Success”

• “Take Image OK”

[8]

De-energize the CAMERA.

[9]

Remove the MEMORY CARD from the CAMERA.

Purpose:

To set the values for “White Bad Pixels”.

Do When:

After installing a new:

• CCD

• LENS AY

• MAIN BOARD

Specification:

• “WBP” < 20,000

• The message “Calibration Success” displays on the LCD.

Special Tools:

• Computer with a MEMORY CARD READER/WRITER

• BATTERIES with a full charge

• black cloth or dark GEN 3 TEST FIXTURE

• MEMORY CARD
