Preparing to Take Pictures

Setting the Beep Sound

The camera “beep” sound can be turned on or off in the mode menus.

Turn the mode dial to any function except
PLAY or PC Cam.

Press the MENU/OK button.

Press the right button to select the SETTING
menu.

Press the up or down buttons to select the
BEEP item.

5

Press the SHIFT button to enter the BEEP
submenu.

6

Press the up or down buttons to set the beep ON or OFF.

7

Press MENU/OK to save the BEEP setting.

NOTE:

The default BEEP setting is ON.

Auto Power Off Settings

The camera can turn itself off automatically after a set period of inactivity. Change the
auto power off duration in the mode menus.

Press the right button to select the SETTING
menu.

Press the up or down buttons to select the
POWER SAVING item.

Press the SHIFT button to enter the POWER SAVING submenu.

Press the up or down buttons to set the POWER SAVING:
1 Min, 2 Min, or OFF.

7

Press MENU/OK to save the POWER SAVING setting.

NOTE:

The default auto power off setting is 1 minute.
