Safety key

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

11. On/Off Switch

This saw is equipped with an on/off switch (E) and

a safety key. The safety key is intended to prevent

unauthorized and possible hazardous use by

children and others.
To turn the saw ON:

• Insert the safety key, and then depress the on/

off switch (E).

To turn the saw OFF:

• Press the on/off switch (E) again. To lock the

saw:

• With the saw turned OFF, remove the safety

key.

WARNING

• To reduce the risk of accidental starting, ALWAYS make sure the switch is in the OFF

position before attaching the battery pack.

• ALWAYS make sure your workpiece is not in contact with the cutting wheel before starting

the tool. Failure to heed this warning may cause the workpiece to be kicked back toward the

operator and result in serious personal injury.
