 CAUTION

Installation of the Stratos shall be carried out by trained and qualifi ed personnel in 
accordance with the user manual and as per applicable local and national codes. 
Observe the technical specifi cations and input ratings during installation (see 
“Specifi cations” from page 138 onwards and EC-Type-Examination Certifi cate from 
page 145 onwards). For input ratings, see “Interface”, page 141 and EC-Type-Exam-
ination Certifi cate. 
According to the FISCO model, the limits of the permissible parameter range must 
be observed for connection in a hazardous location. See PROFIBUS Technical Guide-
lines PNO Order No.: 2.091 
Be sure not to notch the conductor when stripping the insulation. 

For easier installation, the terminal strips are of a plug-in design.
