Structure and Function
The station consists of subsequent elements:
–
worktable with a grate made of platform grill,
–
half-open housing,
–
suction chamber with a waste drawer,
–
adjustment shut-off damper,
–
lighting installation
– to illuminate the work field,
–
connection fitting piece for the extraction ducting,
–
swing door from both sides.
The connection fitting piece can be mounted to the upper housing surface, to the side walls
or to the side
surface of the suction chamber.
The air can be extracted
downwards through the
grate (of the suction chamber) or upwards through the openings in the housing ceiling.
The air division proportion
(up-flow extraction / down-flow extraction)
is controlled by a shut-off
damper that is placed in the suction chamber housing.
The Universal Extraction Station
is equipped
with
a swinging
side
door, being closed
by
a
mag-
net. Therefore, the side walls can be
swung aside, when on
the worktable are placed larger ele-
ments, protruding the outline of the worktable.
