Re:
DW10W, DW10B,
DW12I, DW13W, DW13X, DW14I
By now most of you would have seen the new model dishwashers. They are
basically the same as the current models with the following exceptions:
DW12I
All functions are the same as the current DW7.
The rear legs are adjustable from the front to make installing much easier. To
adjust the right rear leg to lift the dishwasher, turn the knob on the right hand
side clockwise. To adjust the left rear leg to lift the dishwasher, turn the knob
on the left hand side anti-clockwise.
The DW12 is not to be installed with a worktop or kick plate as it is designed
as a built-in dishwasher. When fitting the timber panel to the front door at
least the first plastic expander strip supplied with the dishwasher must be
fitted to the underside of the control panel.
The top basket is now height adjustable, ensure you demonstrate the correct
way to use the top basket as we have many complaints that the basket will
not stop at the higher position. This is because the customer is lifting the
basket to the second click, which is the release mechanism. To lock the
basket in the upper position, you should lift the basket to the first click, and
then to lower the basket, lift the basket again to the second click to release.
Demonstrate to the customer to only fill the dispenser to the minimum
indicator. Advise the customer that the rinse light is an indication that the
rinse aid dispenser requires filling, as we have many calls from customer that
the dishwasher is stuck on the rinse cycle, when it actually only requires rinse
aid.
Important Note
: The dishwasher should not be transported unless the
levelling legs are fully retracted into the base. Failure to do this will damage
the mechanism for adjusting the rear legs.
