Using the Timer
The timer can be used
in two ways:
• You can use it as a minute minder. In this case, the timer will not turn any
cooking zone
s
off when the set time
expires
.
• You can set it to turn one or more cooking zone s off after the set time expires.
Note: T
he timer
can be set
for up to 99 minutes.
Using the Timer as a Minute Minder
If you are not selecting any cooking zone :
1. Make sure the cooktop is turned on.
Note:
Y
ou can use the minute minder even if you’re not selecting any cooking
zone.
2. Touch the timer function key , t he timer display will start
flashing and
show
“30”
.
3. Adjust the timer setting by touch ing the “ ” or “ ”

The
timer display
will start flashing and
the
remaining time
will show in the display.
Hint: Touch the “ ” key once to
decrease or increase
the time
by 1 minute.

4. T o cancel the timer , touch the timer function key and then "--"
will show in the timer display.
5. When the time r is set, it will begin to count down
immediately. The display will show the remaining time
and flash for 5 seconds.
6. When the set time expires, a b
uzzer will

for 30
seconds and the timer
display will
show “- -”
