5. Remarks with respect to the determined use
The pump must be positioned on an even surface with a max. angle of 15°.
In combination with a 2 m high-pressure hose it is not possible to work in a cable trench.
For this application at least a 3m high-pressure hose (Pos.-No. 8) is needed.
5.1. Operation of the unit
1.) First select the right dies (Pos.-No 10) for the intended application. Then take the
crimping head (Pos.-No. 9) from the holder of the trolley (Pos.-No. 11), open the
criming head, insert the dies and roll out the high pressure hose (Pos.-No. 7)
completely. Connect the power cord to the power supply.
Attention
Don’t actuate the unit without the crimping dies in place.
Attention
Before operating the unit the oil level must be checked and adjusted if necessary.
2.) Connect the plug of the safety foot switch to the socket (Pos.-No. 2) on the pump and
roll out the cord.
3.) Turn on the power switch (Pos.-No. 1) and bring the crimping head into position.
4.) Actuate the safety foot switch (Pos.-No. 7) until the dies are completely closed.
The crimping process will proceed as described in chapter 4.3.
Attention
The working process can be interrupted at any moment by releasing or
stepping down the pedal of the safety foot switch.
Once the three step safety foot switch has been stepped down, it can only be reactivated by
pushing the reset button of the foot switch. This reset button is located on the top of the foot
switch.
Attention
Before making any changes on the crimping unit switch off the power to
avoid unintended operation.
