5.4. Service and maintenance instruction
The hydraulic crimping unit has to be cleaned and dried after use.
The unit is basically maintenance-free, only the oil level has to be checked regularly and the
bolt joints have to be oiled regularly.
An oil check has to be made in regular intervals. To do that lossen the screw (Pos.-No. 6),
screw of the guiding handle (Pos.-No. 5), place the tool in a vertical position with the crimping
head pointing downwards, remove the oil plug and check the oil level and if neccessary fill the
tank up to the brim. After servicing the tool, screw the guiding handle on again and fix it with
the screw.
Attention
Spilled hydraulic oil has to be absorbed immediately.
After one year we recommend to forward the tool back to the manufacturer for a complete
check-through.
