5.5. Storage and transport
In order to protect the tool against damage it has to be cleaned carefully after every use and be
put into the carrying case which should be closed safely. The plastic carrying case (picture 7)
can accommodate the cutting tool, 1 battery, 1 charging unit and the instruction manual.
6. Troubleshooting
a.)
If the blades should get stuck when cutting fine
stranded cables the blades can be released using
a screw driver as shown in the picture to the right.
Move the screw driver in the direction of the arrow
while simultaneously actuating the retraction slide
(Pos. 2) until the piston retracts automatically.
b.) The tool loses oil.
=>
Return the tool to the manufacturer. Do not open it and damage the seals of the tool.
c.) The cutting tool does not reach the final operating pressure.
=>
Stop the cutting process. Actuate the retract slide (Pos.-No. 2) and the operating switch
continuously and simultaneously for about 10 sec. If the malfunction has not been
eliminated by this method the tool has to be returned to the manufacturer.
d) Constant flashing of the light diode display (Pos.-#. 8) at the end of a pressing cycle.

Service due. Please send the tool to your nearst Authorized Service Center (ASC).
