Operation Manual
Typ K 32
The Crimping tool K 32 is able to crimp cable end sleeves with and without insulation.
The crimping range is from 0,14 to 6 sqmm, respectively 2 x 0,5 to 2 x 2,5 sqmm for Twins.
The entire range can be crimped with one crimping profile.
Procedure
1.
Close the handles completely until an internal detent pawl releases the handles and the
tool opens by itself.
2.
Slide the cable end sleeve onto the sufficiently stripped cable. (Keep in mind that the
cable end sleeve must correspond to the cross section of the conductor)
3.
Insert the conductor with the cable end sleeve into the crimping profile.
If using insulated cable end sleeves do not crimp the plastic collar.
Partly closing the crimping profile when crimping smaller cross-sections enables you to
facilitate the insertion process.
4.
Complete the crimping procedure until the detent pawl (Pos. 1) releases the handles
completely. The detent pawl provides that the tool will not open before the crimping
procedure is completed.
5.
Take the completed contact out of the profile.
false handling:
In case of error or false handling it is possible to open the tool before the crimping cycle is
completed. To do that pull detent pawl (Pos. 1).
-
by compressing the handles lightly the detent
pawl (1) will be released and the tool can be
opened.
-
to open pull the detent pawl anticlockwise.
-
open the tool carefully.
