Setting the timer for several cooking zones
1. If more than one cooking zone is to use the timer function, the timer display
shows the lowest time (for example, if 6 minutes have been set for zone 1 and
3 minutes for zone 2, the timer display shows "3").
Note:
The red dot next to the power indicator flashes.
2. When the time set in the timer has elapsed, the corresponding cooking zone is
automatically switched off.
Note:
If you want to change the time after the timer has been set, you must
start again from step 1
.
Key lock
You can lock the control panel to prevent accidental use (for example, by children
who accidentally switch on the cooking zones). When the child lock has been
activated, all buttons except the On/Off button are disabled.
•
Activate key lock:
Touch the key lock button. The timer display shows "Lo".
•
Deactivate the key lock:
Make sure that the appliance is
switched on. Press and hold the key lock button. The key lock
is deactivated and the appliance can now be used.
Note:
If the key lock has been activated, all buttons are deactivated except
for the On/Off button. In an emergency, the appliance can be switched off by
pressing the On/Off button. Note that the key lock must still be deactivated
before the next use of the appliance.
