CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Note:
Switch off the appliance before cleaning and maintenance and unplug the
mains plug from the socket.
Cleaning the surface
Clean the surface of the appliance with a wet soft cloth. Do not use chemicals, such as
benzene, alcohol, gasoline, etc. Otherwise, as this may cause damage to the surface
and or the internal workings of the appliance.
Cleaning the air fi lter
If the fi lter screen is clogged with dust, the effectiveness of the air conditioner is reduced.
The fi lterscreen should be cleaned once every two weeks or as often as necessarily in
your environment.
Cleaning the upper fi lter screen frame
•
Grip the edge of the evaporator fi lter screen frame with both hands.
•
Pull out to remove the fi lter screen from its frame. If present, unscrew the screws
fi xing the fi lter before removing it (as shown in the above fi gure).

Put the evaporator fi lter screen into warm water with neutral detergent (about
40 °C) and dry it in the shade after rinsing clean.
Cleaning the lower fi lter screen frame
•
Hold the handle of the air inlet fi lter screen frame, and pull it outward gently to
remove it.
•
Put the fi lter screen into warm water with neutral detergent (about 40 °C ) and dry it
in the shade after rinsing clean.
