5). Any operation against the safe instruction would cause risks. Please use the machine strictly
according to the instruction manual.
6). Please place the machine in a steady location. If using the machine in a moving place (such as
car, train, plane, and steamboat), fix the base of the coffee machine as well as placement
surface.
7). Please use purified water and descales the machine periodically in case that pipeline would
blocked by water scale.
8). Please keep the machine out of the reach of children.
9). Keep the outside of the machine clean during daily use. Unplug the machine from the socket;
wait until the heating parts cool down. Then use a soft, slightly damp handkerchief and neutral
detergent to wipe the machine. (The detergent must be not corrosive; otherwise the lacquer on
surface will be damage)
10). Please do not immerse the machine in water for cleaning, or drench it.
11). This appliance is not intended to be used in: bed and break fast type environments.
12). Please do not touch any heating part except the Heatproof Jacket in case any risk of scalding.
13). Please do not leave the cord in the machine base. Draw it out completely before use the machine.
14). The machine must be cleaned periodically.
15). Fill the Water Tank before turn on the Power Switch. The water level should be between MIN and
MAX.
16). It can make maximum 15 cups of espresso when the Water Tank is full (1.0L); about 30ml per
cup.
17). The machine is suitable for coffee powder only; and can be used to make coffee, hot water and
steam (for frothing milk) only.
18). This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments.
19). This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
3. Measures Before Use
1) Please check whether the power supplied is in accordance with
the one shown in the nameplate at the bottom of the machine.
2) Use the machine in a steady location.
3) Open the Water Inlet(7) as Picture 1 indicates, fill the Water
Tank with cold water; or take off the Water Tank from the
machine and fill it directly. The water level should be between
MIN and MAX.
4) Draw out the cord from the base of the machine.
5) Insert the plug into the socket that with ground wire.
6) The coffee machine needs to be preheated when it is used
every time. The preheating operation is as below:
A. Assemble the Filter Basket(12-2) and Spout (14-2), or Filter
Basket(12-1)and Spout(14-1) into the Portafilter(12-4), as
Picture 2 indicates. Insert the Portafilter (12) into the Group
Head (19). Turn the Portafilter (12) right until it is tightly
attached with the machine, as Picture 3 indicates.
B. Start the coffee machine by lifting Power Switch (5) to the
[ ] position. The Power Indicator Light (13) and the Heating
Indicator Light (9) is on, which means the coffee machine is
power on and preheating.
