IMPORTANT SAFEGUARD
When using electrical appliance. Basic safety precautions should always be followed including the fol-
lowing:
1. Read all instruction.
2. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label of the
toaster.
3. Do not touch hot surface. Use handles or knobs only.
4. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or any part of the toaster in water
or other liquid.
5. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
6. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
7. Unplug unit from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cooling before putting on
or taking off parts.
8. Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
9. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or in abnormal state. If its main cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,the nearest service agent or a qualified person.
10. Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
12. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
13. Oversize food, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted in the toaster as they may
cause fire or electric shock.
14. Bread may burn, therefore toasters must not be used near or below curtains and other combustible
materials, and they must be watched.
15. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause
injuries.
16. Use the appliance on a level and stable work surface.
17. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-
control system.
18. Don’t attempt to dislodge food when toaster is in operation
19. Be sure to take the bread out carefully after toasting so as to avoid injuries
20. Don’t use the appliance outdoors.
21. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
• staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
• farm houses;
• by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
• bed and breakfast type environments.

GENERAL USE
1. Connect the toaster to the mains supply and switch ON.
2. Set the browning control to the lowest setting (1).
3. Press the loading handle down and allow the heating elements to warm.
4. Allow elements to heat up until burning odour clears.
5. Press CANCEL button to release loading handle.
