this manual carefully before using the product, and operate it in accordance
with this manual. Please save this manual for future reference.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating
instructions, contact us or other technical personnel.
• For cleaning all you need is a dry, soft and clean cloth.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other
inflammable, chemical solutions.
• Do not apply excessive force to the switches or controls.
BATTERY USE
• Make sure the polarity is correct when putting in a new battery.
• Remove the battery when the unit is not in use for a longer period of time.
• If the device is not working correctly, remove the battery and put it back in
after 10 seconds.
• Replace the battery if the LCD light becomes weak or unclear.
• Dispose of the old battery properly.

OPERATION GUIDE
Insert the batteries into the back of the device. After turning it on, the device will
be calibrated at A4 = 440 Hz.
1: Button functions
a) Power on/off: Press button 1 “On/Off” to turn the tuner on or off. The display
and the LEDs will be lit and the device will be in tuning mode.
b) If no signal is detected for 3 minutes, the device will turn itself off.
c) The key can be changed successively by pressing button 2 “Mode”:
C, D, Eb, F, Bb.
2: Tuning
a) Place the tuner’s microphone (MIC) close to the instrument so you can easily
read the display. Connect your electrically amplified instruments using a
6.3 mm (1/4
"
) jack cable to the input to achieve better results.
b) Select the desired key using button 2.
c) Play the note you want to get in tune. The tuner recognizes the note auto-
matically and shows it in the display.
d) Once the tuner recongnizes a tone, it will be shown in the display with its
name. If the pitch needle is left of the middle, the pitch is too low and a “b”
will be displayed next to the note. If the pitch needle is right of the middle,
the pitch is too high and a “#” will be displayed next to the note. Once the
correct pitch is reached and the indication needle is in the middle, the
display color will turn green.
3: Change reference tone
By pushing button 3 “A4”, you can change the reference tone incrementally
from A = 430 Hz to A = 450 Hz.

of used batteries and accumulators (BattVO) dated March 27, 1998 (BGBl. I
S. 658)) we as seller inform that the customer as end consumer is obliged to
return used batteries by law. Batteries can be returned free of charge after use
to the seller or to his waste disposal centre in his direct vicinity. If batteries are
sent to the seller, sufficient postage is to be paid. The the symbol of the wheel
bin means that the batteries contain heavy metals and harmful chemicals that
may not be disposed of in household or commercial waste. The abbreviations
under the symbol mean: “Cd” (Cadmium), “Pb” (Lead), “Hg” (Mercury)
DISPOSAL ADVICE FOR EEE-ARTICLES
Our customer is obliged to return the EEE-article after its lifespan separately
from the household or commercial waste. EEE-articles can be returned free of
charge after use to the seller or to his waste disposal centre in his direct vicinity.
