Using the timer

Notes:
• If you touch the timer key during operation of the hob
without first activating any cooking zone (without any power
indicator flashing), the minute counter is activated.
After the set time has elapsed, an alarm signal sounds wit
-
hout any cooking zone being switched off.
• In timer mode, the power level of the cooking zones may be
changed without changing the time setting.
•
If you turn off the whole hob, the timer function will be deac
-
tivated.
This function is ideal for preparing a short dish or when you need a safe
reminder.
Using the function:
• To activate the feature, select the desired zone, then press .
The power indicator of the corresponding zone will flash and show
.
•
After this setting, the hob will switch automatically to pause (stand-by)
mode after a countdown of 2 hours.
• Option 1:
Within 2 hours, you can press the selection key of the desi-
red zone, then press to resume operation.
• Option 2:
The zone will keep on stand-by mode until it automatically
switch off after 2 hours.
• To cancel the feature,select the desired zone, then press again .
It‘s the same operation for all other zones.

When the time has elapsed, the corresponding zone is switched off.
The remaining time of the next set cooking zone will be displayed and
the red dot next to the power indicator of this cooking zone will flash.
