Problem

The hob does
not ignite
• No sparks
• Check your power supply.
• Pot holder or burner com-
ponents are not mounted
correctly.
• Remove the components and
reassemble them.
• The gas supply is interrupted.
• Check the gas supply.
The hob is dif-
ficult to ignite
• The gas supply is not fully
open.
• Make sure that the gas tap
is fully open.
• Pot holder or burner compo-
nents are badly mounted.
• Remove and reassemble the
components.
• The igniter is soiled with for-
eign bodies.
• Carefully clean the igniter
as described in the correspon-
ding chapter.
• The burner is wet.
• Carefully wipe the burner dry.

The openings of the flame
generator are soiled.
•
Carefully clean the flame
generator as described in the
corresponding chapter.
Unknown
noises
• Pot holder or burner compo-
nents are badly mounted.
• Remove and reassemble the
components.
When in use,
flames rise
above the
bottom of the
cookware.
• Between pot holders or
burner components there are
ignited foreign bodies.
• Carefully clean the pot holder or
flame generator as described
in the corresponding chapter.

A gust of wind has affected
the flame.
• Check your surroundings for
unfavourable air currents.
Yellow flame

The openings of the flame
generator are soiled.

• You‘re using the wrong gas.
• Check the type of gas supply.
