4. Using the gas hob
• To light the hob, push down the corresponding control
and turn it counterclockwise to the large flame icon
.
• Press and hold the control knob for 15 seconds and make
sure that the burner ignites when released.
If the burner does not ignite, wait at least 1 minute before
switching it on again.
• Turn the knob to the desired setting.
Hints:
• If, for example, the power supply is interrupted, you can also use
matches to ignite the burner. Be very careful when doing so.
• The integrated thermal ignition fuse prevents further gas leakage
when the burner flame goes out.
Nevertheless, be careful if the flame goes out accidentally:
Switch off the burner immediately and wait at least one minute
before igniting it again.

When the pot / pan contents begin to boil,
turn the control knob to the small flame position
.
• Caution! The accessible parts may be hot when the
unit is in use.
Small children should be kept away.
•
For longer periods of intensive use a more effective
ventilation may be required (e.g. by increasing the
performance of an existing mechanical ventilation
system or by opening an additional window).
