2.10 Insert the Focal Length Indicator Ring (15) and slide it forward under the Zoom Drive
Ring (9). (Do NOT replace the screws (16)).
2.11 Replace the 3rd Lens Group (505), using tool R56002/K56026.
2.12 Replace the 4th Lens Group (506).
2.13 Drop the Rear Mount Assembly (528M) in place, making sure the coupling levers engage
correctly. Replace the Guide Pin (19) and four screws (7). Do NOT tighten the four screws.
2.14 Replace the Rear Focusing Spacers (18). Pressing down on the Rear Mount Assembly
(528M), tighten the four screws (7). Apply cement to each of the screws.
2.15 Slide the Focal Length Indicator Ring (15) to its correct position. Align the infinity index line
with the "W" aperture index dot and replace four screws (16).
2.16 Turn the focusing ring to the minimum focusing distance position, and check that the index
dot on the Focusing Index Ring (13) align with minimum focusing distance index line on the
Focal Length Indicator Ring (15). If not, loosen three setscrews (2) and turn the Focusing
Index Ring until the two index marks are aligned. Tighten the setscrews.
