8 Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
The telephone does not ring.
The switch no. 3 under the cover on the
left side of the subset has to be placed in
position
ON
.
The telephone / microphone is very
sensitive according to noise in teh
surroundings.
See chapter 6.2; Side tone. Try to put
switch no. 1 and switch no. 2 into
another position.
It is not possible to use some of the
functions when the handset is placed on
the cradle.
Try to change the batteries.
Nothing is showed in the display when
the handset is placed on the cradle.
Try to change the batteries.
The numbers in the Caller ID list
disappear.
The telephone line has been
disconnected.
The
- symbol in the display is turned
on and there is no message.
Try to reset the symbol, see chapter 5;
Message Waiting.
Other errors.
Check that the front cover is assembled
correct on the subset. It shall be possible
for all the keys to move without any
problem.
If the telephone still does not work, please bring it to the shop where it is bought
together with the guarantee certificate.
