2.3.2 Volume regulation
The received signal in the handset and the loudspeaker can be regulated by means
of the wheel in front of the subset. The level of the received signal will remain until
next time the wheel is moved.
2.3.3 Microphone mute
1. Press the - key. The - symbol in the display is turned on and
the microphone is disabled.
2. Press the - key again, the - symbol in the display is turned off
and the microphone is enabled.
2.3.4 Flash
If the telephone is located behind a PABX, the
R
- key is used to forward a call to
another number behind the PABX, see the user guide for the exchange. If the
telephone is located on a normal public line, the
R
- key is used for different
services.
2.3.5 Call Waiting

During conversation you will receive a Call Waiting tone.
See the number who is calling
1. Press the
LIST
- key.
The conversation is interrupted shortly and the number is showed in the display.
You can now decide what to do with the new call:
Reject the new call
1. Press the
R
- key and wait for dialtone.
2. Press the
0
- key and the waiting call will receive a busy tone.
Finish the existing call and answer the new call
1. Press the
R
- key and wait for dialtone.
2. Press the
1
- key to get the new call.
Put the existing call on hold and answer the new call
1. Press the
R
- key and wait for dialtone.
2. Press the
2
- key to get the new call.
3. It is possible to change between the two conversations by pressing
the
R
- key, wait for the dialtone and then press the
2
- key.
