Chapter 10 Troubleshooting

Power ON failure
A. The power supply line is not well connected. Please install it
well.
B. The voltage is not enough.

Cannot transmit in
conventional mode
A. Make sure you have pressed down the PTT key.
B. The voltage is not enough. Please adjust the voltage.

The noise is too loud.
A. The voltage is not enough. Please adjust the voltage.
B. The communication is out of effective range.

Cannot talk to each other.
A. Please check if the channel and frequency the transmitter and
the receiver use is the same.
B. Please check if CTCSS/DCS is the same.
C. The communication is out of effective range.

LCD displays
“UNPROGRAM”.
A. Please check if the network parameter and radio parameter is
correct.

Always display “Hunting”,
but cannot find the trunking
system.
It indicates that the radio is searching the network, please check if
the following parameters are correct:
A. The initial channel and its frequency, and channel spacing.
B. The number of the control channel.
C. System code parameter

The communication cannot
get through in trunking
mode.
A. Please check if the radio parameter is valid.
B. Please check if you have selected the correct band width.
C. Please check if the initial channel and its Tx frequency are
correct.
D. Please check if the Tx power under the trunking mode is
correct.

There is no voice at the
communication channel
under the trunking mode.
A. Please check if the Tx frequency of the initial channel is
correct.
B. Please check if the step value of the trunking channel is
correct.

The private call number,
group call number, and
contact number are correct,
A. Please check if the radio is enable to make a call.
B. Please check if the radio has set the call restriction function.
