DP990/DP995service manual

The radio employs an ADC (analog-digital converter) module, a security module, an SD card interface module, an

accelerometer module, an LCD module, a key module, a BT module and an ultra-low power consumption RTC

(AM18x5) module.
The ADC module achieves low-battery alarm and VOX. The USB and UART interfaces reuse the same pin set. The

USB port is reused by the radio and BT module.

4. Functions and Parameters

4.1.Basic Functions



Voice: (Analog and digital) individual call, group call and all call



Data: SMS and GPS (optional)



Signaling: MDC, CTCSS/DCS, 2-Tone, 5-Tone, DTMF and digital signaling



Graphic UIs



Up to 512 contact lists



Custom ringtones and vibration alert

4.2.Advanced Functions



Setting a channel spacing from 25 kHz to 12.5 kHz through programming;



Display of field intensity to indicate signal strength;



Display of remaining battery capacity and low-battery alarm.

4.3.Settings

The radio has been set before delivery. However, to meet customers

’

requirements, further configuration may be

necessary, for example, operating frequency, channel parameters, QT/DQT and auto scan. This can be achieved by

the programming software Kirisun_CPSp. It is user-friendly and easy to operate, and supports Chinese and English.

To set the parameters of the radio using the software, take the following steps.
1. Install the programming software on your PC.
2. Power off the PC and the radio, and then connect them using the supplied programming cable.
