3. Looking into the machine through the open hole on
the inside plate, check if the mis-fed is held
between the rollers in the Fuser region.
Whether or not it is held between the rollers
decides what to do next.

If the media is held between the rollers as the

following left photo, proceed to the next
procedure 3.

•

If the media is not held as the following right

photo, please follow the instruction in
[3.2.8 Mis-feed around the Transportation Unit
1 Region (Code: J-0121, J-0221 & J-0421)]

4. Open the Transportation Unit 1 to 4 orderly from the top to the bottom until the leading edge of
the mis-fed media is found.
