with clean hydraulic/transmission fluid. Spin the
filter in a clockwise direction onto the filter housing.
Do not over tighten the filter. After the filter has
made contact with the metal surface, turn it by
hand two-thirds to three-quarters of a turn.
I M P O RTANT :
• All current model KIOTI Tractors come with a re-
usable hydraulic filter.
This filter can be taken apart, cleaned and
reassembled. Care should be taken not to
damage the inner filter screens when cleaning,
do not use sharp objects to clean these screens
as they may increase the mesh hole size leading
to incorrect filtering and serious damage to the
tractor hydraulic system.
Spare parts for these filters are available through

When using auxiliary hydraulics, clean the
transmission/hydraulic filter after the first 50 service
h o u r s .
Remove the drain plug and filling port plug to drain
the used oil. After draining, replace the drain plug
and fill with new oil.
