The coffee is pressed vertically from above as
evenly as possible - first lightly and then with
some emphasis.
At the end of the tamping turn the tamper in
the portafilter to obtain the smoothest possible
result (the so-called polishing).
To ensure the optimum workflow, you have the
opportunity to adjust your tamper in height. To
do this, turn the wooden handle counterclockwise
out. Fix the tamper neck to the desired position.
Then turn the wood handle clockwise again. Now
your T58 is ready for use again.
Please make sure that the handle is tightened
enough, otherwise your tamper will adjust in
height during the tamping process.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
All our tampers are unique pieces. Due to the
individual characteristics of the natural wooden
material, deviations in color and structure such
as grain can occur.
Such deviations are not a defect, but underline
the character of the wood.
