
remain constant driving. When you shift your weight back, you will slow down and you can
even drive backwards with a lot of practise.
Finding your balance for the left and right side is very much like driving a bike. You keep
balance by making use of the speed. When you’re wheeling slowly you’ll have to adjust more,
just like on a bike.
5.3 Preparations
•
Find a safe spot where you can do no harm to yourself and your surrounding.
•
Warm your body up and do some stretch exercises if need be.
•
Where protective gear such as helmets / knee / wrist / elbow protectors.
•
Check the battery level and do a visual and physical control of the unicycle for unsafe
conditions such as loose wiring, abnormal noise and / or friction of motor.
•
Have somebody help/support you.
•
Use the safety belt.
•
Stay clear of sudden extreme acceleration and deceleration in prevention of motor
failure due to the Battery Management System shutting the wheel down to protect the
battery.

6. Battery and charging
6.1 Effect of temperature on the battery/distance
The power of the battery is related to the temperature ( Celsius). There will be a difference in
the distance of a fully charged battery under different temperature conditions.
6.2 Effect of weight one the battery/distance
These are factory specifications under ideal conditions with the person weighing 60 kilos.
With 10 degrees Celsius outside the Future Wheel travels a distance of 18 kilometers. Under
the same conditions, a person of 75 kilograms reaches approximately 14.4 kilometers ( 18km
