Brake bar
1. Pull the brake bar (2) towards the Upper handle bar (1) and hold it in position when starting the engine. Keep it squeezed during
operation (Fig. 11).
2. Release the brake bar (2) to stop the engine.

Recoil Starter
The recoil starter handle (22) is positioned at the rear of the engine.
1. Pull the brake bar (2) towards the Upper handle bar (1).
2. Slowly pull on the recoil starter handle (22) (Fig.12) and
¿
t it into the rope guide (21) on the right hand side of the lower handle
(6) during operation (Fig.13). Do not remove the rope from the rope guide when starting the engine.

WARNING!
Never twist the starter cord around your hand!
Only pull on the handle!
WARNING!
Do not suddenly release the recoil started handle!
Allow the rope to return slowly and in a controlled manner
each time it is pulled!
