FILLING THE WATER TRAY WITH WATER
1) Before attempting to fill water tray with water, it is important that the water pump
(A) Fig.23 be secured to the water tray and that the drain plug (B) is position in
the drain hole.
2) Fill the water tray with water up to the MAX fill line (C) Fig.23 before operating
this Tile Saw.
Warning:
Water level must be kept between MAX and MIN fill lines. The water
level must never go below the MIN fill line (D) Fig.23. This must be checked
regularly to prevent the water pump from functioning without water to pump, could
cause water pump damage.
GFCI ELECTRICAL PLUG
This Tile Saw comes with a GFCI plug (A) Fig.24, which stands for Ground Fault
Circuit Interruption. This is a protection devise which prevents the motor from
overheating during operation by stopping the motor.
This GFCI plug comes with a reset button (B) Fig.24. To turn Tile Saw “On”, plug
GFCI plug into a 120V grounded outlet. Press the reset button (B), the indicator
(C) should turn on. Now the main On/Off switch can be lifted upwards to turn Tile
saw “On”.
USING LASER GUIDE AND LED LIGHT
This Tile saw comes with a Laser Guide and an LED light. These two features are
powered by the GFCI plug when connected to a power source. If you wish to use
one or both of these features, the Tile Saw will need to be connected to a power
source.
1) To turn on the laser guide, press the laser guide button (A) Fig.25. press again
to turn the laser guide off.
2) To turn on the LED light, press the LED light button (B) Fig.25. press again to
turn the LED light off.
OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES
The following steps should be set-up/verified before attempting to cut a tile:
1) Make sure Tile saw is completely assembled as instructed in this manual.
2) Make sure the water tray is filled to the MAX fill line, and the water pump is
positioned in the water tray and is connected to the water pump socket.
3) Plug in GFCI plug into a 120V power source and press the RESET button.
4) Position workpiece against the sliding table and fence, unlock table so it slides,
make sure blade is not in contact with the tile before turning on machine.
5) You may want to turn the LED light and laser guide to assist you.
6) Adjust miter, bevel and depth settings.
7) Lift main switch to turn the Tile Saw On.
8) Make sure the water pump is supplying enough water to the Tile Saw blade.
9) Allow blade to reach full speed before attempting to cut your tile.
10) Slide table towards the blade to cut tile. Turn Tile Saw off after the cut, wait for
blade to come to a complete stop before removing any tile or scrap piece from
the table.
11) Clean Tile Saw before storing.
