3. Device description
The HDMI-CAT Extender Set 4K60 is a point-to-point HDMI extender set for
HDMI 2.0 and control signals. It supports 4K60 and data rates up to 18Gbps. It
is HDCP 2.2 compliant. The HDMI-CAT Extender Set 4K60 allows HDMI trans-
mission up to 70 meters at 4K@60Hz or 80 meters at 1080p over a single CAT
cable. Also it supports bi-directional IR, RS232 and PoC (Power over Cable) as
well as an downscaling.
3.1 Features
• Supports HDMI 2.0, up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, HDR 10, 18G, HDCP 2.2.
• Extends HDMI signal up to 70 m at 4K60 or even 80 m at 1080p using a single
CAT5e/6/7 cable.
• Supports video down-scaling. 4K input signals can automatically be down
scaled to 1080p to increase the compatibility with legacy 1080p devices.
• HDMI loop out on transmitter.
• Bi-directional IR and RS232 pass-through.
• Supports bi-directional 12V PoC, only one power supply required.
• Features visually lossless compression with no latency.
• Smart EDID management.
