4.2 INSTRUMENT PANEL
Note: Each Kimble Chassis is custom made. Instrument panel may not look exactly
like the one illustrated.
1. Fuel Level Gauge: Level gauge for diesel fuel tank.
2. Voltmeter Gauge: Displays the battery voltage. The proper operating range
should show 12 to 14V (volts).
3. Driver Information Center: See page 4-4 for details.
4. Tachometer: Indicates the engine speed in revolutions per minute (rpm).
5. Speedometer: Indicates vehicle speed in miles per hour (mph) and kilometers
per hour (kph).
6. Front Brake Air Pressure Gauge: Indicates air pressure in the front brake
system. Normal operating pressure is 120 psi.
7. Rear Brake Air Pressure Gauge: Indicates air pressure in the rear brake
system. Normal operating pressure is 120 psi.
8. Hourmeter: Records actual operation time, in hours, with contrasting tenth of an
hour.
9. Transmission Temperature Gauge: Indicates the transmission temperature. See
specific manufacturer’s manual for normal operating ranges.
