Installation
1.
Place worksurface upside-down on a desk height
nonmarring surface.
2.
Place the rectangular plate, included with the Pedestal,
squarely on the underside of the surface using the location
seen in
Figure 1
. Make sure the countersink is facing
outward, as this is important to later attach the podium.
3.
BEFORE pre-drilling, it may be helpful to attach the
podium column to ensure the podium column mount holes
are centered with the column pass-thru hole. The column is
attached by using the two (2) 3/8-16 x 1.5” PH Hex
Machine Screws. It is recommended to let the end of the
worksurface overhang the edge of the surface you are
building the desk on. Using a 1/8” drill bit, pre-drill the
eight (8) holes that are in the boxed area in
Figure 1
as well
as the four (4) corner holes to a depth of a few millimeters.
4.
Attach the rectangular plate by driving eight (8) #10-1”
PHP Wood Screws through the eight (8) boxed holes and
into the underside of the worksurface.
a
If the podium column was attached to align the
metal plate, it can now be removed.
