Plug the charger connector into the
battery.
Use
ONLY
the 12-volt charger included
with the Fire Engine (Input: AC120V–,
0.5A, 60Hz Output: +15VDC, 1.5A).
NOTE:
No metal contact intended to be
in this area. Correct as shown.

Unplug the engine connector from the
battery.
Connect Charger to Battery

Use a flat head screwdriver to
unlock the two screws at the
center of the seat. Lift seat.
Lift battery cover.
ONLY AN ADULT CAN CHARGE AND RECHARGE THE BATTERY.
NOTE:
It is not necessary to remove the battery from the vehicle for charging.
However, if the adapter cord will not safely reach a 120-volt wall outlet, the battery
can be removed for charging (see pages 15 and 16).
Charge Battery Before Assembly

Plug the charger into a standard 120-
volt wall outlet. Light on charger will
glow RED.
The charger may feel warm during
charging. This is normal and not a
cause for concern.
Disconnect Charger from Battery

Unplug the charger from the wall outlet.

Unplug the charger connector from the battery.

Plug the the engine connector into the battery.

Position the cover over the battery.

.
Lower the seat over seat hooks (at back of seat).
Ensure seat belt is not caught. Lock two seat screws.
