6. Pull loose the radio bezel and disconnect wiring. Fig. 3
7. Remove the six screws securing the radio and HVAC controls. HVAC control wiring does not need to be
disconnected. Fig. 4
8. Pull radio from dash and disconnect all wiring.
9. Route the amplifi er harness from the radio opening down to the drivers kick panel area. The white
connectors will connect to the amplifi er.
10. Connect the radio speaker power connecter to the amplifi er harness and tuck the connecter out of the
way so that it does not interfere with the reinstallation of the radio.
11. Connect the other end of the amplifi er harness to the back of the radio, reconnect the other radio
connections and then reinstall radio. Make sure the connector is fully seated.
Amplifi er Mounting
12. Remove the plastic retainer securing the small section of air duct below the steering column and remove
air duct. Fig. 5
13. Remove the four nuts securing the knee bolster defl ector below the steering column and remove the
knee bolster defl ector. Fig. 6
14. Remove the two screws securing module to the left of the steering column. Fig. 7
15. Remove the wire retainer to the left of the brake pedal pivot point. Fig. 8
