surroundings of the rear corner radar
has been damaged or paint has been

may adversely affect the performance

Blind-spot safety
With the ignition switch or ENGINE
START/STOP button in the ON position,
select 'Driver assistance → Blind-spot
safety' from the 'User settings (LCD dis
-
play) or Setup → Vehicle (Infotainment
System screen)' menu to set whether or
not to use each function.
僅 If ‘Active assist’ is selected, the func
-
tion will warn the driver with a warn
-
ing message, an audible warning,
steering wheel vibration and braking
assist will be applied depending on
the collision risk levels.
僅 If ‘Warning only’ is selected, the func
-
tion will warn the driver with a warn
-
ing message, an audible warning and
steering wheel vibration depending
on the collision risk levels. Braking will
not be assisted.
When the engine is restarted with the
function off, the ‘Blind spot safety sys
-
tem is Off’ message will appear on the
cluster.
If you change the setting from ‘Off’ to
‘Active assist’ or ‘Warning only’, the
warning light on the side view mirror
(outside mirror) will blink for approxi
-
mately 3 seconds.
In addition, if the engine is turned on,
when the function is set to ‘Active assist’
or ‘Warning Only’, the warning light on
the side view mirror (outside mirror) will
blink for approximately 3 seconds.
WARNING
僅 If ‘Warning only’ is selected, braking is
not assisted.
僅 If ‘Off’ is selected, the driver should
always be aware of the surroundings
and drive safely.
