1. Unplug from AC power socket. Allow the kettle to cool down before cleaning.
2. Clean the kettle and its base with a wet soft cloth.
3. Do not immerse the kettle in water.
4. Clean and dry the interior part of the kettle with mild cleaning agent.
5. Lime scale from various water sources will deposit on the heating element which then becomes less
effective in its function. Descaling of the lime deposits is needed from time to time.
6. Lime scale is not harmful to health.
7. Descale the kettle regularly. Fill the kettle up to MAX with a mixture of one part ordinary vinegar and
two parts of water. Boil the mixture, leave it overnight and discard the boiled water in the morning.
8. Repeat with clean water to remove the remaining scale and vinegar.
9. Rinse with clean water.
