V3500A User’s Guide

Driver Installation and Commands

Instrument Address

When performing remote programming, the V3500A serial
number is used as the unique address of the instrument. You
can find the serial number of your instrument using one of
the following methods:

Find the serial number on the back label of the
V3500A. Look for an integer number in the range of 1
to 99,999,999.

Press

MENU

to enter menu mode and scroll using the

down menu arrow until “Serial Num” menu is
displayed. The number shown is the serial number of
your instrument.

Retrieved from the firmware using the

SerialNumber

driver command.
