Getting Started

Keysight 34980A Mainframe User’s Guide

Install the module into a mainframe slot until it fully seats with the backplane

connector. Using a Pozidriv #1 screwdriver, tighten the two screws to secure

the module in the mainframe. Installation of the support sleeve is now

complete.

Wiring and Installing a Terminal Block

If you are planning to use an optional terminal block with your plug-in modules,

follow the next two procedures to connect your external wiring and install a

terminal block.

WARNING

Before you begin this task, make sure you have disconnected power from all
external field wiring you will be connecting to the terminal block.

NOTE

For plug-in module pinout diagrams and additional information, refer to the

User's Guide(s) shipped with the module(s).
