5. Installation Verification
1. Power the instrument on and verify that the instrument will not only boot up, but the signal
analyzer application software will load properly. This would include verifying that there are not
error messages displayed in the status bar of the application window.
2. Operate on N9000A signal analyzer.
a. Press [Input/Output] > {RF Calibrator} > {50 MHz}
b. Press [Amplitude] > {Attenuation} > {0} > {dB}
3. Connect a spectrum analyzer to the AUX IF OUT connector at the rear panel. Verify if there is a
signal at frequency point 322.5 MHz, and with amplitude from –30 to –15 dBm.
