Pre-Installation Instructions
This product has numerous capabilities and functions. Not all uses will apply to each specific application.
WIRELESS NETWORK
Product needs to be within range of Ketra’s wireless network, KetraNet Mesh
TM
.
KetraNet Mesh
TM
is a wireless mesh network system in which each wireless device both sends and
receives data commands. Devices should be configured within 50 ft (15.24 m) of another KetraNet Mesh
TM
connected device.
Depending upon topology and materials within the space, range may be limited.
•
Avoid metal obstructions.
•
Walls may impact communication depending upon construction method and materials.
•

CONTROL CONNECTIONS
Distance limitations for each control topology should be taken into consideration.
•
DMX – 1800 ft (548 m) maximum.
•
0-10 – 50 ft (15.24 m) maximum total, depending on wire gauge.
•
Contact Closure – 50 ft (15.24 m) maximum total, depending on wire gauge.
•
24 Volt – 50 ft (15.24 m) maximum total, depending on wire gauge.
