Safety instructions
Read the following instructions carefully before using the device.
CAUTION!
Danger of fire, short-circuit and electric shock!
• Do not use the connecting cable to disconnect the mains plug or to carry the device.
• Do not allow the connecting cable to come into contact with heat, oil or sharp edges.
• Store the device in a dry place and keep it away from liquids and moisture.
Danger of physical injury and material damage when used incorrectly!
• Ensure that the device is only used by people who have the relevant professional skills.
• Observe the maintenance instructions.
• Only operate the device with the appropriate mains voltage.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• National and international safety, health and occupational safety regulations must be observed and complied with.
Correct use
The device is used to file down piglets‘ teeth. Any other use is classified as incorrect. In the event of incorrect use or modifications to the device,
the manufacturer‘s warranty and liabilities shall be deemed invalid.
Operation
Notes
• Ensure that the filing body is clean - see „Cleaning and care“. This is the only way of ensuring effective filing.
• Do not press the filing body hard against the teeth. This will interfere with the filing effect and put unnecessary strain on
the filing body.
• File the tooth with only light pressure on the tip so that the sharp edges are removed.
Proceed as follows:
1. Switch the device on using the I/O button.
2. Set the speed. To do this, turn the selector knob to the appropriate setting (e.g. setting 8 corresponds to 8,000 rpm).
3. File the tooth. To do this, position the filing stone through the slit in the aluminium safety cap on the tooth.
4. Switch the device off again with the I/O button.
Cleaning and care
Clean the filing body after each use. Clean the filing body and aluminium safety cap with a hard brush and water or vinegar. To thoroughly clean
both parts, a conventional cold cleaner can also be used. After cleaning, grease the clamping sleeve and support for the cap nut (external thread).
