Character Entry

How To Use the Character Entry Screen

Character Entry screen

Shifts the cursor.

Enters characters.

Scrolls up or down the character button

display.

Sets the key layout of the character buttons.

abc : Alphabetical key layout.

qwe : Qwerty key layout.

Enters a space.

If you erase a character, locate the cursor on
it and touch this button.

Clears the character.

Exits the Character Entry mode and returns

to the previous screen.

⁄

• You can enter characters only after you have applied the

parking brake.

When you select the Set Station Name mode or others, the following screen appears for character entry.
