How to use the RETURN key

When the RETURN key is pressed, the
display returns to the M AIN PAGE.

Press the POWER key.

Choose the language for

SUB TITLE. ( ENGLISH * )

Choose the language for the menu recorded on the DISC. (

This sets the screen size (4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio) according to the connected TV.

4:3 LETTER BOX

Choose this setting if you w ant the movie to fill the entire screen of your TV. You w on't see part of the picture
(particularly the right and left edge).
Some disc produced in a w ide screen format can

t be cropped in this fashion, w hich means the black bars

w ould appear at the top and the bottom of the screen.

4:3 PAN-SCAN

16:9 WIDE

Choose this setting if you w ould prefer to see movies in their original aspect ratio. You w ill see the entire frame
of the movie, but it w ill occupy a smaller portion of the screen. This setting may result in the movie appearing
w ith black bars at the top and bottom of the screen.

Choose this setting if your DVD player is connected to a w idescreen TV.

N-FLICKER

PROGRESSIVE

The picture quality is adjusted automatically.

Choose this setting to reduce flicker noise of picture.

Choose this setting if your TV is INTERLACE type.

Choose this setting if your TV is PROGRESSIVE type.

This adjusts the screen quality according to the material being played back.

Choose this setting according to the TV mode.
If the

(STOP) key is pressed during 10 seconds, INTERLACE mode w ill be selected.
