The very first thing you should do is set-up an account on Kenwood’s Route Collector website
via your computer/laptop

https://www.route-collector.com/

Route Collector is necessary if you want to use features such as Facebook, Twitter, Gmail,
RSS, Dropbox and Route Planner.
