Power s w i t c h for the oscilloscope. Pressing this control once turns the power on and
pressing it again turns the power off.
® Pilot Lamp
Lamp lights w h e n the oscilloscope is on.
(3) C A L Terminal
Voltage terminal for calibration of probes. Provides an approximately 1 kHz square w a v e
at 1 V w i t h positive polarity.
0 $ POSITION/PULL x 5 MAG
Rotation adjusts the vertical position of channel 1 trace on the display. Pulling this knob
increases the vertical axis sensitivity 5 times.

S e t s the vertical a x i s sensitivity using the vertical attenuator for channel 1 . T h i s knob
c a n be s w i t c h e d in a 1-2-5 s e q u e n c e . Setting the V A R I A B L E knob (6) to the C A L posi-
tion provides calibrated vertical axis sensitivity.
During X - Y operation, this control s e r v e s a s the attenuator for the X axis or Y a x i s .
