to use the food chopper
1 Place the non slip mat onto the
worksurface, rib side down.
2 Position the glass bowl onto the
middle of the non slip mat.
3 Fit the knife blade over the pin in the
glass bowl.
4 Add your food, see processing
guide.
●
Cut large pieces of food into 1-2cm

in pieces).
●
Don’t chop hard foods such as
coffee beans, ice cubes,
spices or chocolate - you’ll
damage the blade.
5 Fit the splashguard. Make sure the
slots in the splashguard fit over the
handles in the rim of the glass bowl.
●
The food chopper will not
operate unless the
splashguard is fitted.
6 Fit the power unit.
●
The power unit will only fit correctly
in two positions.
7 Plug in. Press down on the power
unit for short lengths of time to
produce a pulsing action - this will
avoid over processing the
ingredients.
●
If the machine labours, remove some
of the mixture and continue
processing in several batches,
otherwise you’ll strain the motor.
●
Stop the machine and scrape down
if necessary.
●
Do not run the food chopper
continuously for longer than 10
seconds. Leave to cool for 1 minute
inbetween each 10 second
operation.
8 After use, unplug and dismantle.
hint
The glass bowl can be used in a
microwave oven.
cleaning
●
Always switch off and unplug before
cleaning.
●
Handle the cutting blades with care -
they are extremely sharp.
●
Some foods will discolour the
plastic. This is perfectly normal. It
won’t harm the plastic or affect the
flavour of your food.
