1 Place up to 50g/2oz of coffee beans
into the coffee mill. The lid can be
used as an approximate measure
.
2 Place the lid on the unit so that the
button is positioned above the
Kenwood name. It will not fit in any
other position but will drop easily
into place when correctly located.
3 Connect to the power supply and
switch on the appliance by depress-
ing the button in a continuous oper-
ation or a series of pulses until the
desired consistency is achieved
.
This will vary according to the quan-
tity of coffee ground and the degree
of roasting.
4 Lift the lid to remove.
5 Use the ground coffee as required.
Important:
If the lid is removed to check the
consistency of the coffee grounds,
always ensure that the inner rim is
free of coffee particles. This can be
carried out by shaking the grounds
into the centre
. Failure to do this
may prevent the appliance from
operating. If this is the case, remove
the lid, clear the grounds from the
rim as above, replace the lid.
Always ensure that the blades have
stopped revolving before removing
the lid of the coffee mill.
