thoroughly recommends reading these instructions before using the Engine

Support Beam, even if you have used one on a vehicle before. Reading these instructions
carefully and understanding them fully will enable you to support an engine correctly and will
prevent injury to yourself or someone else as well as damage to the vehicle and equipment.
Because this product can also be used in conjunction with a trolley jack and axle stands,
please follow all relevant safety instructions regarding the lifting of vehicles.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

Always chock the rear wheels to prevent the vehicle moving.

Always wear protective gloves when working with engine components.

Always follow the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations and procedures.

Always ensure the rubber feet are securely located in the gutter of the vehicle’s

front wing panels.

Always ensure the nuts and bolts are tightened fully.

Always keep children and unauthorised people away from the work area.

Never exceed the Engine Support Beam’s rated load capacity.

Never modify the Engine Support Beam.

INSPECTION:

Before each use of the Engine Support Beam, a visual

inspection should be carried out, checking for cracks,
cracked welds and missing or damaged parts. 

if it

appears to be damaged in any way, it should not be
used and removed from service immediately.

To enable the threaded hook to be in a vertical position, the legs of the Engine

Support Stand can be positioned to match the angle of the wing panels. 

OPERATION:

1. 

Position the Engine Support Beam over the engine,

ensuring that the rubber feet are securely located in
the gutter of the front wing panels.

2.

Locate the threaded hook over the factory lifting
hook which is mounted on the engine.

3.

Feed the chain through the hook on the engine and
attach it to the threaded hook.

4. 

Turn the handle clockwise to tighten the chain and
therefore support the engine.
